Some work is required of attendees prior to the course, but it shouldn’t take any longer than a few hours.
Trainer
Courses are delivered by Jo Cox-Brown.
Jo has worked in Marketing for blue-chip companies such as Microsoft, Unilever and Mars and has over 18 years’ experience in creative writing to engage a variety of audiences. She also has extensive knowledge of reviewing tenders from prospective suppliers.
Jo was the Chief Executive of a Charity and social enterprise for 8 years where she secured tenders and grants from major donors’ worth over £5 million. Since joining Silverlock she has worked with clients such as Barnfied College, Inspire Cultural Partnership, Clegg Construction and Tees Vally Community Church on fundraising, vision casting, strategy and bid writing. Jo also sits on a Heritage Strategy Panel and Heritage Action Zone Grants Panel, so is not only well versed in making grant applications, but also in reviewing them.
