When completing tenders for the public sector, a lot of people think evaluators will read everything in the bid document. That would be unusual. A typical page of A4 has 400-550 words, and it would take the average person around 2-3 minutes to read it. Evaluators don’t have unlimited time available, so usually have only 1 minute to read 500 words. This means they have to skim the material. To help them do this keep your writing short, relevant and interesting.
